Invite the two Stanford University students who saved a rape victim to the White House to give them proper recognition

Created by J.P. on June 10, 2016

Two Stanford University PhD students, Carl Arndt and Peter Jonsson, saved a woman who was being raped while unconscious . The rapist, Brock Turner, was later convicted and was given a very lenient sentence, which has outraged many people. A movement has since been launched to recall the judge who seemed to coddle the perpetrator with very little regard to the victim.

However, through all this, not enough attention has been paid to the heroes who saved the victim from further harm. They had the presence of mind and courage to act and do the right thing.

As a token of appreciation, the two students should be invited to the White House and be recognized for their heroic act. They should be set up as examples of how ordinary people should act to help their fellowmen.
