invoke the Comity principle of Separation of Powers in the Vulture Funds' case against the Republic of Argentina.

Created by A.A. on August 08, 2014

Vulture hedge funds have left victims up and down the continent, from Brazil, to Peru, to Mexico -- even extorting billions from US taxpayers.

Executive action on this matter would send a clear and unequivocal message that the United States is a just and fair economic partner to its Latin American neighbors.

Vulture funds are bad for Argentina, bad for Latin America, bad for financial institutions, bad for US taxpayers, and bad for the world. Nothing could send a clearer message that the US is a friend to Latin America than this executive action, siding US foreign policy against the interests of predatory hedge funds. We urge you to send a strong message to those who would profit through the spread of misery and death throughout the world, that their profits are not assured.
