This petition is to request an immediate moratorium and / or repeal of the Stand Your Ground law and its content thereof; until an in-depth review, and further opinion be rendered by our highest judicial legislators, of its context, as it effects all citizens of the United States.
Currently the law is unclear, arbitrary and is constructed in its design that it affords an individual(s) to act towards another individual(s), based on mere perception and assumptions, with malice.
If then death occurs to a party involved in a confrontational situation, one's human rights CAN be interpreted as having been violated that there is only one party that can tell his/her story, and typical that they do so in the context of self defense, which is often questionnable.
