Trying the 47 would be done behind closed doors and could take months. But, one of the signees has definitely stepped into it. Iowa Senator Joni Ernst is currently an active member of the Army Reserve. By signing the Cotton letter, she clearly undermined the authority of the Commander in Chief which is blatent violation of the UCMJ. She should be court-martialed immediately !
