The Iranian People have the right to know! Do not veto ‘onerous’ Poliquin bill on Iranian leaders’ finances

Created by M.A. on September 23, 2016

We are concerned with your potential decision to veto the bill proposed by U.S. Rep. Bruce Poliquin that would force the U.S. to disclose financial information on top Iranian officials.

We believe transparency to its own people is one sign of a respected government. Something the authorities in the Islamic Republic of Iran are foreign to. Corruption amongst the elites in the Islamic Republic of Iran is rampant.

Recently, the Iranian “National Security Committee” passed a law in prohibiting any type of revelations of wealth and banking account of the top head of country and threats anybody who attempt to do so to prosecution and jail.

We should respect the right of the Iranian People to know. And as such we urge you not to take this action to deprive them of the truth.
