H1b approved holders gets 221g during visa interview. That means candidate (who already has approved h1b status) can not go back to United States and can not work until 221g administration process gets solved. Unfortunately, there is no time limit given for this process that means candidate gets stuck for indefinite period in the country where he/she appeared for visa interview and which causes loss to companies and candidate. When H1b application has been approved by USCIS then why 221g is given on a basis of no reason. Candidate also brings paystubs, h1b approved status, US education history, income tax return but still 221g given on a ground that information is missing and candidate can not get visa. 221g are given irresponsibly to talented people.
