Please allow individuals who are diagnosed with and take medication for ADD/ADHD to serve in the armed forces in at very least a non-combatant role. Most states allow doctors to issue three months of prescriptions at a time. Navy basic training is about two months which means a cadet could fill his prescription at the on base pharmacy. So logistics shouldn't be an issue. If it is feasible to have a KFC in the Green Zone during the Iraq War this shouldn't be a logistical issue. It is a shame that there are people such as myself who are more than capable to pass basic training and who only want serve our country but are repeatedly told we are not good enough. Please, reverse this policy. Something as insignificant as a pill taken once a day should disqualify loyal Americans from service.
