On the 4th of August 2013 the Discovery Channel begin it's annual Shark Week programing. Historically the week has included educational programing and facts about the lives of the wolds sharks. The programing was intended to inform the public about the nature of these beautiful and dangerous animals and remove the fear most people have for them. The Shark Week season began with the program "Megalodon: The Monster That Lives", a documentary containing photos and video about attacks by a giant shark and scientists trying to determine if the Megalodon does still live. The photos are fake, the videos are fake, the scientists are fake, the story behind the show is fiction, and no disclaimer was given to say as such. Discovery Channel has shamed it's history and needs to be told so.
