Issue an exec order: veterans' applications to procesed in 30 days or less - fund by 5% tax on income over $500,000.

Created by G.N. on June 24, 2013

Veterans are waiting too long for promised benefits sometimes leading to tragic results. No veteran should have to wait more than 30 days to have his application for benefits processed. Since the vast majority of veterans come from families with incomes far less than $500,000 per year and those who earn more than $500,000 per year have disproportionately benefited from the actions of the military, the funding of these benefits should come from a 5% income tax on income over $500,000. This tax is on any income, regardless of source.
