As President Obama has stated, there are no red states and there are no blue states, there is only a United States.
Today a large percentage of Americans are of African American, Latino, or other origin with skin color often described as other than white, yet the central focal point of the executive branch of the government of the United States is a place called "The White House".
The name of such an important place to the American people should be sensitive to and respectful of the racial identity of ALL of the American people.
The American people, whether professionals, middle-class, farmers, landowners, or youth, being so diverse, desire the name of the temporary home of each President individually to unite as wide a range of classes as possible using the name "The People's House".
