Issue an executive order creating a "Vice President's Day"

Created by J.Y. on February 18, 2013

The United States has a federal holiday to honor and recognize Presidents, but no such formal day to remember the Vice Presidents. The 47 Vice Presidents of the United States were deeply involved in our nation's history, yet the vast majority remain in complete obscurity. There is barely any mention of the Vice Presidency in the history books, despite the fact that the Constitution specifically outlines the role of the Vice Presidency. Let's honor the Vice Presidents with a federal observance that recognizes January 25th as "Vice President's Day."
