For too long the songs 'Wouldn't It Be Nice', 'Surfin USA', 'Good Vibrations', and others have seen heavy rotation on the phonographs of this country, while 'Sloop John B' has been virtually ignored.
We the people sign this petition because we didn't really get a good education about how government works, but we're real mad about this and righting this historic wrong seems like the sort of thing a real chill bro like President Barack Obama should do.
If the President could also mention that Marvin Gaye's rendition of 'I Heard It Through the Grapevine' was probably one of the peaks of Western culture, that would be chill too.
