This petition seeks an executive order from President Obama to return the New Orleans Saints' 2nd round selection in the 2013 NFL Draft, taken as penalty for operating a pay-for-injury reward program.
While the NFL unilaterally and unjustly levied harsh sanctions against the Saints, their investigation contained more holes than the 2012 Saints defense and was marked by faulty assumptions, mischaracterizations, and outright lies. A litany of hearings arising from the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement proved this. Convicted Louisiana politicians have shown more competence.
