Issue an Executive Order to formally re-categorize schizophrenia as a Neurological illness of the brain.

Schizophrenia currently is categorized as a psychiatric or psychological illness, a "disease of the mind." Schizophrenia is currently treated primarily by psychiatrists, using anti-psychotic medications. And remission success rates remain poor to mediocre, even with compliance to available anti-psychotic medications. The modern view of schizophrenia is that it is caused by neurological abnormalities that like most neurological illnesses, are not yet fully understood by the medical and scientific communities. Some believe part of the underlying problem in successfully treating schizophrenia is that it is not formally recognized by the medical community as a full-blown brain illness, a Neurological illness, rather than a psychiatric illness. Please treat it as a brain illness, formally.
