President Obama has the power and authority to issue an Executive Order to stop Federal Insurance Providers from unfairly charging higher insurance premiums for Self Plus One coverage than two single people would pay for an individual policy. An example is that 2016 Federal Blue Cross has an individual monthly rate of $217.06 while their monthly rate of Self Plus One is $501.17. A couple each buying individual coverage would pay $434.12 which is $67.05 less than a married couple. This fleecing of the federal workforce doesn't make any sense. Statistics show that people who marry live longer healthier lives than those who don't. I ask that President Obama as a matter of basic human rights issue an Executive Order that limits Self Plus One to the lesser rate of double individual coverage
