We the people would like for President Obama to issue an executive order to the FBI and AFT to create a "Deal / NoDeal" website for free background checks using the NICS database that gun dealers use now. This website will merely ask for enough information to lawfully query the database and no information about the firearm being exchanged.
Trial lawyers will sue everyone who doesn't use a free and easy background check exchanging firearms, crossbows, swords, crock pots, 3d Printers, etc eliminating the need to legislatively make a requirement.
Government will soon have access to approximately 1/6th of all the Mental Health records due to "Obama-care" and that information will be shareable to NICS.
Safety isn't about making criminals of law abiding citizens but providing them the tools.
