Issue an Executive Order permitting states to drug test people receiving government aid, such as Welfare.

Created by E.M. on February 26, 2013

Recently, states have been denied the right to drug test people using social programs, such as Welfare. Most recently, a judge ruled:

"The simple act of seeking public assistance does not deprive a TANF applicant of the same constitutional protection from unreasonable searches that all other citizens enjoy."

There is no clause in the constitution which gives people the right to be supported by the government if they choose to not work. This is not a given "liberty."

Most all hard-working citizens of this country are routinely drug tested at their job. Our government has reached a very sad point when people who receive handouts are entitled to more rights than those who work hard and are robbed of their money to give to the poor.

$910 Billion in welfare spending! Enough is enough!
