Issue an executive order re-classifying cannabis' controlled substance schedule rating. States are already regulating and legalizing recreational use of cannabis. The Federal government needs to re-examine their view on marijuana. We shouldn't have to pay the debts of history because of the timber industry.
We need to base our decisions on what is and isn't good for us with science. I think it would be reasonable that most scientist would determine that marijuana has no business being classified with heroin or any of the other schedule 1 drugs. We have too many judges acting in their own self interest, and dragging propaganda from the 1950's into our court rooms. Make the right decision. Research has cleared the way, pave it Mr. President.
