Issue an Executive Order to reduce the pay of members of Congress by at least 20% effective immediately, through 2016.

My family is tired of the political uncertainty in Washington. We are tired of having our taxes increased while members of Congress make three times the amount (or more) that the average American worker makes. We propose that their salaries be cut by at least 20% through 2016 in an effort to decrease our federal deficit and to provide an eye opening experience as to how dire our nation's financial situation really is. The working class cannot be effectively represented by members of the upper class. We are tired of the finger pointing and partisan bickering, we need action NOW!
