Our group, the AAEHPA, will launched a national campaign of citizens concerned about the negligent handicapped parking system, and government failure to protect the civil rights of disabled Americans needing handicapped parking access. We respectfully submit this petition for the following:
*The same Handicapped Parking (HP) laws in each state
*National publicity campaign educating the public of HP needs and laws
*Mandatory training & evaluations on HP law enforcement to all government employees & law officers
*HP placards to contain issuing physician ID & phone #, also photo of person for whom issued
*All Van Accessible signage change to: For Wheelchair Loading Only, sign & license tags color-coordinated
*Free HP where other drivers pay, to be halted
*HP signs warn Violator Fine $250
