This petition asks President Obama to issue and executive order removing any barrier to free trade with or travel to and from Cuba. The 50-year history of the embargo has resulted in the suffering of our neighbors under the weight of economic sanction and loss in revenues for agricultural and other interests that would do business with Cuba. Cultural and economic exchanges with Cuba should be natural activities and not restricted by bad policy. Their is no rational reason to maintain the embargo and we respectfully request that the President end it.
