issue an executive order to restrict pay/entitlements to Congress pending any fiscal year budget resolution.

Created by B.M. on July 23, 2013

Congress should get their pay and entitlements cut until budget resolution has been passed. In August of 2011 Congress passed the Budget Control Act allowing them more time to find this resolution, hence the Continuing Resolution Authority (CRA). Congress should get no more time to play with money unaccounted for. We are cutting budgets Government-wide (civilian furloughs), while Congress and other civilian leadership saw a 0.5% increase in pay in December of 2012. When you don't do your job, you get fired, Congress since not doing their job has only seen a raise in pay. Not to mention all other entitlements they get for serving only one term in office, which should be earned, not given. Cut their pay until we get a budget, and do the jobs that the American people have entrusted upon you.
