President Obama please issue an Executive Order restoring the name Denali to the highest mountain in North America because it honors Native Americans across the country, it shows that the nation appreciates and respects Native American cultures and languages, and because it is the appropriate action which shows respect for Alaskan states’ rights. It is time to return “Denali” to Denali National Park, it is time to take action via an Executive Order Mr. President. Alaskans officially adopted Denali as the name of the highest peak 40 years ago, it is time for the rest of the country to follow suit.
