In the wake of the outcome of the 2016 Presidential Election, the LGBT Community has come under the severe threat of having their civil rights and same-sex marriages annulled by Donald Trump's impending Presidency. Mike Pence, Trump's Vice President has a notoriously anti-gay agenda that would invalidate countless married same-sex couples and would be a devastating blow to civil rights everywhere.
Therefore, we the people call on President Barack Obama to use his remaining time in office to issue an executive order to ensure the that rights of the LGBT community will continue to be recognized and protected under the law.
