This petition has been created to urge the Obama Administration to normalize, equalize, and standardize the collective flags of the United States in order to begin a visible and tangible movement toward non-discrimination.
In light of the recent outcry to remove the Confederate flag from public display, we must find common ground to mitigate the hatred and jealousy thriving in our country. The feelings of the American people should trump the history of our great nation.
Many state's flags display an animal, which is unfair to other animals. Many state's flags resemble the Confederate Flag. The flag of Arizona looks too similar to Imperial Japan.
I formally propose that all U.S. state flags become a white background with a Twinkie because, let's face it, who doesn't like Twinkies?
