This Petition supports the President in the event he deems it necessary to issue an Executive Order(s) in regards to Gun Law reform.
An Executive Order derives authority under Article II of the Constitution. Such an Order can be used to overcome significant political barriers to making change to an issue of substantial public importance. By issuing an Executive Order, President Obama would have the ability to take particular action on Gun Law Reform efforts.
The President is exploring, with the Attorney General and his Cabinet, any options that may be available if he finds that he needs a means of implementing changes to our Gun Laws.
Lets support the President in taking action to stop the unacceptable epidemic of gun violence in this Country.
