Issue a full pardon to the former Governor of Alabama, Don Siegelman.

Former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman was convicted for re-appointing Richard Scrushy, the CEO of HealthSouth, to the state's Certificate of Need Board. Screechy had been appointed by 3 prior Governors, both Democratic and Republican, to the CON Board. The alleged quid pro quo was a $500,000 contribution that HealthSouth made to the PAC that was supporting the referendum to establish a lottery in Alabama for purposes of bettering education in Alabama. This referendum was being opposed by the Choctow Indians who run gambling casinos in Mississippi and who contributed substantial sums to the Republican Party and realted PAC's to defeat the referendum. It is reported that Scrushy in fact was personally supporting Siegelman's opponent.
