An issue that is of great importance today is anti-bullying. Bullying is a major issue and it needs to be taken care of.

What the government should do is provide for the anti-bullying program and give teachers more training. According to National Bullying Center 27.8% students report being bullied during the school year in 2013. Also that 19.6 of the high school students in the U.S. report being bullied at school in the past year. Lastly, 57% of bullying situations stop when a peer intervenes.Bullying is also linked to suicide. An issue with bullying is that it leads to suicide and depression. When you are being bullied, you are harassed. Over 14% of high school students have considered suicide, and almost 7% have attempted it. Bully victims are between 2 to 9 times more likely to consider suicide than non-victims, according to studies by Yale University.
