Yahoo despite all legal requests by its customers has over several years refused to divulge new passwords for its customers' private e-mail accounts. Yahoo will send the new passwords to alternate email addresses and telephone numbers. When these are not available to its customers, Yahoo will e-mail a list of security questions based on yahoo services and information inside the now unavailable e-mail addresses. When the customers are unable to fully answer the question list, Yahoo permanently refuses any other means to access new passwords.
