Issue a law that legally compels the Roman Catholic Church in the USA to allow women to be ordained into the priesthood.

Created by N.S. on December 26, 2012

In the interests of gender equality women should not be forbidden from being ordained into the priesthood of the Roman Catholic Church in the USA. Women should be granted the same rights as men and that the Church should not discriminate against female applicants to the priesthood. The Obama Administration should issue a federal law that compels the Roman Catholic Church in the USA to allow women into the priesthood in the interests of gender equality and to prevent potential female priests from being discriminated against based solely on their gender as presently the Church only allows men to be ordained as priests. Women should have the right to be priests in the Catholic Church and the Obama Administration should do something to promote the status of women in the interests of equality.
