The misuse of welfare money is maybe not as prevalent as many may think, but it is a problem none the less. I am calling on Congress to amend the general welfare system to force recipients to undergo drug tests monthly and make them actively search for a job by limiting the time any recipient may be enrolled in the program. Many Americans do not have a problem with helping people in need, but I want to make sure my hard earned money is going to good use, and not a drug dealer or luxurious commodities that should not be purchased if they cannot even support themselves. I know I speak for every tax paying American when I say that reform needs to come to this issue, and action needs to come immediately.
