On January 17th, 2013, while speaking before the U.S. Conference of Mayors, Vice President Biden told a story about being near the October 2nd, 2006 Amish School Shooting. He said, “I happened to be literally — probably, it turned out, to be a quarter of a mile [away] at an outing when I heard gunshots in the woods. We didn’t know. … We thought they were hunters. As I got back to the clubhouse of this outing and saw helicopters, it was a shooting that had just taken place in a small Amish … school just outside of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.”
The nearest golf course, the Moccasin Run Gold Club, is in fact 7 miles away, making his story impossible.
We want an official response from the White House on whether they back the false statements made by Vice President Biden for political gain.
