While I understand we have a border crisis in Texas that must be addressed and the world has its eyes on the conflict between Hamas and Israel, I ask you all who has their eyes on our own version of the Gaza Strip, otherwise known as Southside Chicago?!
How can we continue to not give Rob Emmanuel the support he needs to help make the residents of this neighborhood feel safe, but more importantly save these young children from destroying their lives, and taking the lives of other innocent people. Maybe a few National Guard patrols on these streets would help curb the violence. Unfortunately, the violence in these communities are worse than your Newtown and Columbine’s combined.
This is a crisis and real humanitarian issue and no one seems to care. It must be stopped ---Yesterday.
