Issue a Presidential Pardon to Army PFC Bradley Manning, freeing him from custody immediately.

Created by J.F. on July 30, 2013

On 7/30/2013, Private First Class Bradley Manning was convicted of multiple charges espionage and theft for his actions in releasing documents to Wiki Leaks that cast the actions of the United States in a negative light during the military campaigns in Afghanistan and Iraq.

While it can be said that this was indeed a crime, he issued these documents in order to spark a national debate and start conversation regarding our actions in the middle eastern wars.
By not pardoning PFC Manning, The Obama administration is sending a message that the people can no longer hold the government accountable meaningfully.

The undersigned all urge the president to please move forward on issuing an official presidential pardon and clemency on all charges and potential sentences that Bradley Manning Faces.
