Edward Snowden saw an unfair violation by the government to illegally gather terabytes worth of information on the American people without the due process of law. He risked his life and his family and career to fight for freedom and to fight for our rights. He gave the information to the press, a freedom that is guaranteed by the constitution in the first amendment. He never leaked info to other governments, he leaked it to the press for the benefit of the American people. He is a hero, and our government should pardon him and use his knowledge and ideas in a positive manner by bringing him back home to his family.
