We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Issue a presidential pardon to Donald J. Trump for any crimes discovered by any ongoing IRS audit of his personal taxes.

Created by D.P. on July 28, 2016

Trump won't release his tax records, citing as reason an IRS audit. He said he will release them after the audit, and seems fearful of losses or prosecution arising from the idea that it would influence the outcome. He likely needs legal assurances to give him the confidence that any misdeeds discovered will not affect him personally.

This information is more significant to our voting decision than the additional revenue possible from finding a minor error or major scam. Donald needs help to do the right thing and provide us with the facts. For this reason We the People implore President Obama to immediately pardon Mr. Trump for any crimes that may be uncovered by any ongoing audit of his tax returns.
