We the people of this great United States request you to issue a proclamation to fly the flags at half staff across the nation every February 2nd in remembrance of the day this nation lost an American Hero, Chris Kyle.
He was a national treasure saving countless lives doing an unspeakable job for his country that he loved effortlessly. We owe it to his wife, his children, his parents, and his fellow brother and sisters of the military to give them one day to remember.
Where, when, and how he fell should not matter. His legacy matters, his memory matters, and we the people of this nation matter. Once you are military you are ALWAYS military.
