On the night of February 25 to 26, 1992 Armenian armed forces with the participation of some soldiers of the 366th Regiment of the United CIS forces stationed in Stepanakert (supposed to be acting without orders from commanders, seized the town of Khojaly. During the storm, and after it had been injured, killed or missing, hundreds of civilians.
