On Friday, November 15, Batkid heroically saved the people of San Francisco. Batkid, secretly known as Miles Scott, is a leukemia patient who's in remission. When crusaders like Miles fight crime and fight medical challenges, we need to recognize it. I call on President Obama to issue a proclamation recognizing Miles for his heroic actions, the 13,000 Americans who came out to support this hero, and the Make-A-Wish foundation for being a change-agent for good. Today the world is a better place because of all these people.
