Per a recent BBC article, American researchers have developed keyboard technology that could make tablets accessible to visually-impaired Americans. The technology creates what BBC refers to as a "smart keyboard for users." Though the technology remains in developmental stages, it arguably shows great promise. With the rapid growth and increased importance of mobile computing systems, efforts to improve this technology and make it accessible to visually-impaired Americans are highly praiseworthy. Therefore, the President should issue a statement celebrating this innovative and promising endeavor.
