Issue a strong statement in support of our right to assembly and speak out against the breaking up of protests.

This petition is asking for the President to take a stand against local police and city agencies breaking up protests around the country. All over the country protests are being broken up, crowds gassed and arrests threatened for camping out in protest. As Americans we have the right to assemble and protest. I am not asking the President to come out in support of any individual opinion, or take sides on an issue, just to support our constitutional rights.
