Whereas, the Italian Supreme Court has now ruled to retry Amanda Knox after her conviction, in which she was prosecuted by a man charged who was later charged with corruption, was overturned on appeal; Ms. Knox was initially held in an Italian prison for four years for a crime which it has been obvious from the beginning that she did not commit; the original investigation was incompetent at best, fraudulent at worst; many Americans are still not aware of the intricacies of Italian Law which is very different from law in the United States. It has become abundantly clear that it is unsafe for Americans to travel to Italy.
