Unless you're active duty or retired from the military, our veterans do not get an identification issued to them to prove that they served and kept us free. Many organizations offer veteran discounts, but without a veterans ID, many of our vets can't take advantage of them without carrying their honorable discharge papers with them. The Whitehouse needs to adopt a policy for Veteran Identification or make the states include a veterans status on their ID's.
