It is all about human rights in India that sikhs never got here equally. Sikhs have their different identity, all the activities in sikh religion are totally oppose to hindus but why still Indian government consider sikhs as hindus, did they forget how from 800 years mughals were ruling on them just sikhs gave them freedom to live not any other king just intead of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. So please do not insult us by considering us as hindus.
