It is time to end corruption in Liberia: tell Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to tender her resignation

Created by T.A. on May 15, 2016

Whereas the President Sirleaf has shown time and again her unwillingness and indifference to prosecute government officials and cronies who have been implicated in corrupt practices, despite overwhelming evidence from audit reports;
Whereas Global Witness, in a recent report, exposed the machinations of back-door wheeling and dealings to fraudulently change the laws of Liberia, while short-changing citizens of development;
Whereas we, the citizens of Liberia and friends of Liberia worldwide, have no trust in the failed policies and corrupt penchants of Madam Sirleaf;
1) We are therefore calling on Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to tender her resignation as President of the Republic of Liberia;
2) We are appealing to the US Gov't to impose visa sanctions on Liberian Officials implicated.
