The recently deteriorating relations with the Russians over the Ukraine has raised questions about whether US astronauts will be able to use Russian built spacecraft to send crews to the International Space Station as well as being able to refuel the American built outpost. The Russians can kick Americans off the station and take it over since there are the only people that can take people to it. The Russians are also the only country that can refuel the station.
There are a number of ships undergoing testing for use as "space taxis" to the ISS. However, they will not be ready until 2018 ! The station will be under Russian ownership by then. We need a CRASH program to build an American vessel to crew and supply the ISS! America built and launched this technological wonder ! Save it!
