It's simple, if Congress does not fulfill its responsibility to pass a budget, they should not get paid either.

We're tired of these political games every year. Neither side budges because they are pushing their own agendas. But it's the hardworking taxpayers who loose in this political game of chicken. Shame on all of you! Simply, but if you can't work to get the job done (of which you were each elected to these positions), then the President should issue an Executive Order preventing each of you from being paid - you have not completed your obligations as an elected official. The Government shuts down...none of you should receive a dime.
