We the people have been bombarded by election coverage since the Spring of 2015. And at the time that this petition is being drafted we still have more than 3 months to go before the next president is elected. We ask that congress reviews some of the following measures to make those running for president still be able to do their jobs as elected officials and not take so much time away to campaign
A) Noone can file their paper work to run until 9 months before the next General Election
B) All primaries and caucuses will be held either the same day, or over a 3 week span, during the month of July then conventions in mid-August
C) Anyone holding a campaign rally before paperwork is filed will be penalized or disqualified
D) Campaign budgets will be capped at $50 Million per campaign
