In Zivotofsky v Kerry, Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote the 6-3 decision for the court, "The power to recognize or decline to recognize a foreign state and its territorial bounds resides in the president alone". With that I am calling for The President to officially recognize the State of Palestine.
Recognizing the State of Palestine would not only be good for the People of Palestine, it would be good for Peace. If the US wants to help with Peace between Israel and Palestine it must recognize the state of Palestine.
Recognizing the State of Palestine would help with peace talks because it will show the government of Palestine that the US is willing to work with Palestine.
2 state solution is the only solution, the US needs to do more to make this solution happen faster
