The dental industry needs to finally recognize that they are blocking citizens persuit of happiness, their well being and productivity through invalidated understandings of dental health.
If you were not born into a wealthy family or had a family with issues or know of a family, odds are you know someone that has poor dental health. While the industry is hyper focused on hygiene and only paying for hygiene, a massive part of society is impacted by the costs of poor dental health.
There is no good reason to keep people from having their teeth fixed and punishing them for their parents or family's inability to encourage, instill and pay for dental care. Dental hygiene and health is as much a necessity for higher levels of employment as good health.
Fix it! Dental care IS health care!
